Chicken Run

The Bre Humble & Kind Foundation presents the 2024 Chicken 5K Run / 1-Mile Walk & Corn Hole Tournament on Saturday, September 28, 2024
Sox Harrison Stadium – PennWest University – Edinboro
Raffle Baskets / Kids’ Fun Zone (includes face painting, games, and a fun run)
- Onsite registration @ 9:00 a.m.
- Chicken Dance @ 9:45 a.m.
- 5K @ 10:00 a.m.
- Corn Hole Tournament @ 10:00 a.m.
- 1-mile walk @ 10:15 a.m.
- Kids’ Fun Run @ 10:30 a.m.
Course: The 5K road course loops around the campus. The race will take place rain or shine. The 1-mile walk, kids’ fun run, and corn hole tournament will take place at Sox Harrison Stadium (or in the dome in the event of rain).
Shirts: Participants must register by September 15th to guarantee a T-shirt.
Timing: The Big White Trailer will do timing.
Post-race: Complimentary refreshments will be served at the end of the race.
Awards: Trophies will be presented to 1st place male and female finishers of the 5K race and to the best child and adult chicken costumes. Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category of the 5K. An awards presentation will take place at the end of the race near the finish line. Winners of raffle baskets will be announced at this time as well, and they do not need to be present to win. There will also be an award for the winning team of the corn hole tournament.
